Old Southwestern Native American Indian Sterling silver barrette hair clips, stamped STERLING and unmarked, most likely Navajo. These pieces showcase a classic Native American barrette hair clip design, extra wide, adorned with 3 silver spheres wrapped in silver beads and separated by 2 rope style scrolls. The barrettes have hand-stamps all around. The pair weighs approximately 37.5 grams, and measures 5 5/8" across and 13/16 " in height.
Note: The clips in the back of the barrette that hold the hair are different. One appears to be the original one, thicker, and narrower.
The other is a more malleable wire, and wider. Thank you for supporting authentic Native American art. The item "Old Long Southwestern Native American Sterling Silver Stamped Barrette Hair Clip" is in sale since Thursday, January 24, 2019.
